Network management and coordination are funded by IRRI and CIRAD. Many of the network's experimental and analytical activities receive funding from GRiSP (PRAY New Frontier Project) between 2012 and early 2015. Activities are not fully funded, however, and partners therefore participate in the investment. A project specialized on phenomics and GWAS of lodging resistance traits conducted by IRRI is funded by Syngenta (private sector).
Network Management is trying to increase and diversify funding sources and is open to any initiatives from within and outside the network.
